These are broad ranges you'll see across the Australian market. Every project is different, so treat them as a guide, not a quote.

- Custom web app: often A$10,000 and up, depending on features, data and integrations.
What drives the price
- Number of pages and how much writing is needed.
- Custom design versus adapting a template.
- Features: online bookings, payments, quote calculators, member logins.
- Photos and content: whether you supply them or they need to be created.
- SEO setup: how much work goes into helping the site rank on Google.
Ongoing costs to budget for
- Domain name: about A$20 to A$30 a year for a .com.au.
- Hosting: from free for simple static sites, up to A$10 to A$50 a month for larger sites.
- Email: often A$5 to A$10 per user per month with Google Workspace or Microsoft 365.
- Updates and support: optional monthly care plans, or pay as you go.

- Recommended, A$1,490: everything in Starter, plus your own photos, Google Business Profile setup and 3 months of support.
- Care plan, A$99/month: website management, new portfolio work and photos added, and 3 social media reels every month. Month to month.

- Will the domain be in my name? It always should be.
- Do I own the website when it's paid for?
- What are the yearly costs after launch?
- Is it built for phones and set up for Google?
